Notaries

Marc Trépanier

A managing partner, practising the profession of notary since 1988, Marc is a graduate of the University of Ottawa who founded the firm Trépanier & Associés in 1990 and with André Trépanier joined in 1993. An expert in residential and commercial real estate law, Marc is also an accredited commercial mediator and certified identity verification agent (IVA) by the Chambre des notaires du Québec.

INTERESTS:

Marc loves the outdoors, so much so that he can be found every morning in the forest walking his two Labrador dogs (Sunny and Roxy). He also has a bucket list for skiing around the world.

Dany Raffoul

A graduate of the University of Ottawa, Dany began his career with the Trépanier & Associés team in 2007 as a student, and he has been a notary in this firm since March 2012. While more focused on real estate law, he also offers his services in business law, estate law, and family law. He is available to meet all your needs in both English and French, as well as in Arabic.

INTERESTS:

Dany is a travel enthusiast and greatly enjoys camping on weekends in order to relax between working weeks.

André Trépanier

A partner, André qualified for the profession in 1986 after studying at the Université de Montréal. Having worked as a notary in Montreal and Abitibi, he settled in Gatineau in 1992, and co-founded the firm Trépanier & Associés with Marc Trépanier. Specialized in real estate law, business law, and estate law, he is also experienced in banking law and has represented title insurance companies in acquiring immovable securities. Highly involved in his community, André Trépanier gives lectures to social agencies in Outaouais, particularly in relation to the protection of seniors and their assets.

INTERESTS:

André was the first Quebec winner of Jeopardy (Quebec version of the game). Reading is his greatest passion and he also enjoys a good bottle of wine.

Marianne Guillemette

Originally from Sherbrooke in the Eastern Townships region, Marianne studied at the University of Sherbrooke where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree with co-op. She did her internships with Trépanier Raffoul Notaires during her baccalaureate, then she officially joined the ranks of the notary firm at the end of her master’s degree. She has held her title of notary since May 1, 2022 and her vitality complements the team perfectly.

INTERESTS:

Marianne is very passionate about everything related to music, whether it’s participating in a karaoke night or attending musicals, and even playing various musical instruments. You could say she has rhythm in her blood! She has developed a particular interest in international pop music, particularly K-pop and J-pop.
